- Room Size - The size of your room will determine the capacity of your air conditioner. Measure Accurately.
- Openings- Our Selector should be used for the area to be cooled by a single room air conditioner. If a room is connected to another by a permanently open door or archway more than five feet wide, consider the two rooms as one area.
- Corners- Conditioned air will not go around corners or down hallways into other rooms.
- Bigger is NOT Necessarily Better - An air conditioner with a higher BTU capacity than required may cycle on and off frequently and may not dehumidify properly.
