Energy Recovery Option/Accessory for 2 to 12-1/2 Ton WeatherMaster® and WeatherMaker® Rooftop Units

The 62AQ units are single piece packaged modules designed specifically for 2 to 12-1/2 ton WeatherMaster or WeatherMaker units as a factory-installed option or as a field-installed accessory module. The 62AQ unit recovers energy from building exhaust air and pre-conditions the ventilation air in the cooling or heating mode using a specifically designed R-22 heat pump. When selected as a factory-installed option on an HJ or HE unit, the combined rooftop unit and 62AQ unit become a Cobra™ energy recovery unit.

Capable of operation down to 0° F ambient temperature in heating or cooling mode
Heating ratios up to 5.5 at 17 F ambient
Adds additional stages of heating and cooling operation to the standard rooftop unit
Adds significant dehumidification and part load capabilities to the standard rooftop unit
Airflow ranges from 400 to 2500 nominal cfm
Capable of using separate and isolated return/exhaust ducts for no cross-contamination of supply air when using poor quality return air
Can be controlled by a single Thermidistat™ control or PremierLink™ DDC control
Compatible with many standard rooftop unit options and accessories including:
- PremierLink DDC controls
- Hinged panels
- Smoke detectors
- Louvered hailguards
- Humidi-MiZer™ adaptive dehumidification system
- 115v convenience outlet
- Non-fused disconnect
- Coil coatings
Additional features of a Cobra energy recovery unit include:
- All the standard features of the base rooftop unit
- Factory connected and wired from 62AQ to base rooftop unit
- Factory wired for single point electrical main power connection
- Can be mounted on a single piece specifically designed curb or a standard roof curb with a sleeper rail (field-installed accessory)
