The 42B belt drive fan coil units provide year-round comfort air conditioning with central station operating economy. The 42B units are designed for high-static, ducted applications, using furred-in, horizontal and vertical models.

- ½ in. copper tubes with aluminum fins mechanically bonded to tube joints
- Suitable for design working pressures of 250 psig at 200 F
- Burst tested with air at 350 psig while submerged in water
- Copper tubes comply with ASTM B-75
- Motor features:
- Permanently lubricated bearings
- Class B insulation
- Open drip-proof
- Single speed
- Suitable for continuous duty at 104 F
- Motor and its mounting are independently isolated from the cabinet and blower
- All equipment wiring complies with NEC requirements
- Units constructed in accordance with ETL and ETL, Canada standards
- Factory-installed motors and electric heaters are UL approved
- Unit casing meets UL 181 and NFPA 90A standards

- Belt-driven motor has a variable-pitch pulley which adjusts at the jobsite to accommodate limited ranges of air quantities and pressures
- Motor has an adjustable platform for easy belt adjustment
- Knockouts are provided for hanging the horizontal units that will accept a 3/8 in. threaded rod at the top and bottom of all unit corners
- 1-in. long supply and return duct connections are provided
- Factory-installed controls
- Single point electrical connection

- No controls (J-box with motor wiring only)
- Motor control only (24 v transformer, motor contactor, and terminal strip)
- Motor control with interlocking disconnect switch

- 4, 6, or 8 row chilled water cooling coils
- 4 or 6 row direct expansion cooling coils
- 1 or 2 row hot water or steam heating coils
- Total or auxiliary electric heat (1 to 3 stages)
