Downloads

Two types of files are offered for download on this page: patch updates and resource files. Patch updates apply new functionality and corrections to existing software. You must have a current, licensed copy of the software before you can install a patch update. Resource files are used in HAP to create template project data that can be imported and used on other projects.

eDesign Suite Current Versions and Program Updates

This table lists the current software versions and contains the latest eDesign Suite software patch updates. Note that you must have a licensed copy of the one of the base versions of the software installed to be able to install the patch update. Base versions are also shown in the table below.

eDesign Suite Weather Files

Note: The full worldwide library of simulation weather data previously posted in this location is now automatically installed when you install HAP (v4.4 and all later versions). Therefore, this data does not need to be manually downloaded and installed.

Simulation weather files contain hourly weather data used with the HAP program to simulate annual energy use for a building. A library of over 500 pre-processed city files is provided with HAP. Beginning with HAP v4.6, weather files from external sources can also be imported into projects. Formats supported include EnergyPlus EPW, ASHRAE IWEC, ASHRAE IWEC2, NOAA TMY3 and NOAA TMY2.

HAP Resource Files

These files contain information that can be used as resources for projects in the HAP program. Each file contains a project archive that can be used as a template project for certain types of project data.

HAP v4.7 - LEED^® 2009 Baseline Building Templates
ASHRAE 90.1-2007 Climate Zone template projects are automatically installed with HAP v4.7. To load a template project use the [Retrieve HAP v4.7 Data] option on the Project Menu. Look for HAP47_ASHRAE-90-1-2007 items in the Archives folder.	May 2013	Not applicable
