| i-Vu® Light Commercial Control System |
|
For light commercial applications the Carrier i-Vu System combines state-of-the-art Carrier equipment and the powerful, web-based i-Vu user interface to deliver comfort and energy efficiency in constant volume systems, variable volume/variable temperature (VVT®) systems, and packaged variable air volume (PVAV) systems. i-Vu intelligently interprets building conditions and optimizes equipment operation, providing up to 32 zones for VVT applications and up to 128 for PVAV applications.

The System Pilot and Touch Pilot™ operator tools serve as the user interface and configuration tools for all Carrier communicating devices in the system and are the commissioning tools for the devices. These user interface tools also serve to change set points, cause occupancy overrides and program system devices.

For variable volume/variable temperature systems, the system includes a selection of round and rectangular dampers. The factory-integrated VVT® zone controller maintains space temperature by modulating the supply airflow, while a separate bypass damper is used to modulate system pressure.
